There isn't another music collective that aligns along creative parallels like G.O.O.D Music does. Period. Their feature in Complex Magazine was a great journalistic piece thanks to Noah Bever and most importantly, these guys presented their perceptions in an unprecedented style that's rare among today's artists. Unarguably, you can't compare them to MMG or YMCMB because those collectives don't have enough to draw up a comparison for. They can't even articulate their thoughts let alone transfer it over into their music, to make good music. They don't seem to care about creating great art...only hot records and that is the mentality hip hop needs to lose not feed. Therefore, I appreciate what G.O.O.D Music represents for music which is Art + Evolution + Quality. Cruel Summer officially begins Sept 4th and it shall be interesting.
